Siranoush Akhgarandouz
RCM Certified Music Teacher and Academy Director
Founder and lead teacher of Strings & Sound, Siranoush is an RCM Certified piano teacher and a Registered Music Teacher with the BCRMTA. She guides students from their very first lesson through advanced RCM and ABRSM examinations, with a warm, patient approach that builds real musicianship and lasting confidence.

Elena Petrova
Piano and Music Theory Teacher
Elena holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance and an ARCT in Piano Pedagogy, and has taught in North Vancouver studios for over twelve years. She prepares students for RCM and ABRSM practical and theory examinations from Preparatory through Level 10, with a strong record of First Class Honours results. Her lessons pair solid technique with expressive, confident playing, and she has a knack for turning theory into something students genuinely enjoy.
Daniel Reyes
Flute, Recorder and Kids Music Teacher
Daniel completed a Bachelor of Music in Woodwind Performance and has taught flute and recorder to children and adults for nine years. He leads the academy's Kids Music Program, where small group classes build rhythm, listening, and ensemble skills through games and song, and he prepares older students for RCM woodwind examinations. Parents describe his classes as energetic, well structured, and full of laughter.
