What Happens in Your Trial Lesson
Welcome & chat
Five minutes to get comfortable. Siranoush asks about your music background, goals, and any prior lessons.
Try the piano
Sit at the keyboard. Beginners learn finger positions and one short tune. Returning students play something they already know.
Skill assessment
Quick ear, rhythm, and reading check. Siranoush identifies the right starting level (Piano Adventures method, or RCM/ABRSM track).
Your plan
Discuss schedule, term length (4 or 8 sessions), and book the first paid lesson if it feels right. No pressure to commit on the spot.
Come Prepared
What to Bring
- Just yourself (or your child). Siranoush provides the piano, books, and method materials for the trial.
- If you have prior lesson books or sheet music, bring one or two pieces you can play.
- Parents of children under 12 are welcome to sit in for the trial lesson and ask questions.
- A list of any prior exam grades, festivals, or recitals (helps with placement).

Live too far to visit?
Trial lessons can also happen over Google Meet. You will need a piano or keyboard at home, a device with a camera positioned to show your hands, and stable internet. Siranoush teaches in English and Farsi, and online students follow the same RCM and ABRSM curricula as in-studio students.

If You Decide to Continue
Pick a term length
Choose 4 sessions (monthly) or 8 sessions (bi-monthly). 8-session terms include one makeup lesson if you give 24 hours notice.
Payment is cash
Pay for the term at the first lesson. Your parent portal tracks attendance, homework, and upcoming sessions.
Portal access
You receive a private parent portal link by email. View progress, homework, invoices, and book makeup lessons.
