With its light weight, simple fingering system, and friendly tone, the recorder is the perfect entry point into music - especially for children and adults who want a low-pressure way to develop musical literacy, breath control, and rhythm.
At Siran Music Academy, our recorder program builds the same musicianship foundations our piano students develop: reading notation, listening, performing in ensembles, and (eventually) preparing for performance opportunities and competitions.
Whether you are starting your first instrument or supplementing piano lessons with a second voice, the recorder is a joyful, expressive, and rewarding way to begin.
